I am an experienced therapist with a wonderful quiver of tools to help you identify what causes you pain and to move towards the change and healing you desire and deserve. I provide a place of calm, safety and acceptance where individuals of all ages can explore their struggles, worries, frustrations and move towards their hopes and dreams. Mindful Coping
Anxiety and depression can be overwhelming, and it's easy to feel lost in our own thoughts and emotions. I believe that mindfulness practices are an essential part of treating these conditions. My approach to psychotherapy emphasizes the importance of mindfulness practices to create space and clarity for individuals to step out of the chaos and confusion of everyday life.. By staying connected to our bodies and exploring our thoughts and feelings, we begin to know ourselves better and develop the tools to manage our emotions more effectively.
Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk & Talk Therapy is a unique form of psychotherapy that takes place outdoors and with movement. There is evidence that both being in nature and movement positively impact mental health. My Walk & Talk therapy combines the healing power of nature with the opportunity to talk and process thoughts and feelings in a relaxed environment. Additionally, some people find it easier to talk while engaging in a parallel activity, such as walking.
Play
I believe in the power of play to help us process, heal, and understand our lives. I utilize sandtray, art, and other forms of play to help bring issues and feelings to the surface. By taking a step back and engaging in play, we can gain a unique perspective on our lives, and often find healing and understanding. Play can be transformative for children and adults alike.
